SOUL ASYLUM
FIRST AVENUE T-SHIRT
I recently had the opportunity to create a commemorative design with Port Merch for Soul Asylum's year-end, First Avenue show 12.28.2018. The venue is located downtown Minneapolis, the band's hometown, and was recently named one of the "10 Best Live Music Venues in America" by Rolling Stone.
The design was created to be reminiscent of the Twin Tone Records logo, which was the band's long time label. The band recently released a Record Store Day exclusive entitled "The Twin/Tone Years" as a special vinyl boxset.
I still have this band's sticker on my guitar case from when I first started playing guitar. Life is cool.
