Cósmico is a series of 10 works from North Carolina artist, George Hage, which is an exploration in the vast nature of digital mediums using foundational shapes like straight lines and circles to create optical landscapes representing the infinite nature, energy and movement of the universe. The artwork measures 24 by 36 inches on enhanced-matte gallery paper and are signed and framed in white gallery frames. These pieces shine in a physical space as the viewer’s movement interacts with the kinetic energy of the lines and shapes in the artwork. As you move the art moves. In that regard the viewer’s energy becomes one with the art.
The series has been displayed in part with the Visual Art Exchange (VAE), as well as Alter Ego, and on the walls of The Saint Raleigh, a luxury townhouse community with a focus on classic design with modern elegance. The series was also captured in small form in a paperback book.
