Cósmico is a new series of works from North Carolina artist, George Hage, which is an exploration in the vast nature of digital mediums using foundational shapes like straight lines and circles to create optical landscapes representing the infinite nature, energy and movement of the universe. The series has been displayed in part with the Visual Art Exchange (VAE), as well as at Alter Ego, and recently on the walls of The Saint Raleigh, a luxury townhouses with a focus on classic design with modern elegance.
These pieces shine in a physical space as the viewer’s movement interacts with the kinetic energy of the lines and shapes in the artwork. As you move the art moves. Below you can view the 10 pieces in the series. The artwork measures 24 by 36 inches on enhanced-matte gallery paper and are signed and framed in white gallery frames.
